We're excited you're here!
We understand that adding a puppy to your family is a big commitment. We want your dog to fit into your family and live a long, healthy life. It is our priority to ethically breed for health, temperament and intelligence. Each of our parent dogs is health tested through OFA and Embark DNA to avoid known health risks.
Our puppies are raised in our home, under our loving care, from the day they are born to the day they go home with you. Here, they get to experience daily life as well as children, other dogs, cats, etc. At Blue Moon Acres Golden Retrievers, puppies are never left alone in a barn or other out-building. Additionally, we put our puppies through a comprehensive curriculum so they are empowered and well adjusted when they transition to their forever home.

"I recently got my golden retriever puppy from Blue Moon Acres and I could not have been happier with the experience. The breeder, Brenda, was incredibly communicative. When speaking to her on the phone she asked a lot of questions about what I was looking for in my puppy to make sure I found the right match. She sent regular updates, at least once a week, on all the puppies and included incredibly useful information on preparing to welcome my new friend home. She also included a lot of videos and pictures of the puppies, and it was so great getting to watch them grow up. The puppies are very well cared for; the health and well-being of the puppies is first and foremost.
